According to the Daily Star, the 26-year-old is due to complete his move from Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday after holding talks with Eastlands boss Sven-Goran Eriksson. If the deal goes through, speculation linking City with former star Shaun Wright-Phillips or Newcastle's Kieron Dyer is sure to die down. Having previously spent £8.8million on Rolando Bianchi and £4.7million on Atletico Madrid midfielder Martin Petrov, Eriksson will be taking his summer spending past the £20million mark and will now scout around for bargain buys as the new season approaches.
