Portsmouth have been strongly linked with a move for the former Spurs frontman and are thought to have had a £4.7million offer turned down by the UEFA Cup winners. However, they may be tempted to return with a bigger offer after Kanoute revealed he is unhappy with his Sevilla wage packet and indicated he is keen to play in the Premier League again. He said: "I need to speak with the club because I want to earn more money. I am happy in Sevilla but I want to be valued like my team-mates. "Now there are offers and they are interesting to me. The decision will be in my hands. "If Sevilla do decide to sell me I will not create any problems but logically I want to decide my future. "If I do leave Sevilla my destination will be England." However, Pompey would need to significantly raise their offer after Sevilla revealed they would want at least 15million euros for his services. Club president Jose Maria Del Nido told the Spanish press: "If any club is interested in Kanoute the minimum price is 15million euros (£10million)."
