Blues boss Steve Bruce has enjoyed a busy summer in the transfer market so far and has already snapped up the likes of Daniel de Ridder, Olivier Kapo, Fabrice Muamba, Garry O'Connor and Stuart Parnaby. But he is still keen to add to his squad and has identified 26-year-old Diawara as his next target, according to the agent of the St Etienne defender. Franck Belhassen claims his client, who had a trial at Bolton earlier this year, is attracting interest from a number of English clubs after spending last season on loan at Sochaux and insists Bruce will have a fight on his hands to sign him. He told the Sunday Mirror: "Birmingham City would like to sign Fousseni Diawara. "But other clubs in England are interested in him and are ready to offer Fousseni a contract."
